Chiaroscos

i came back late yesterday so was too tired to write much.anyway, here's an account of saturday!=D

i woke up late=( so arrived at sembawang station at 730!!lydia went to return books to the library so she was later than me.lols.whilst waiting for her i went into a pastry shop that was selling mooncakes![i love mooncakes!minus the 1000++ in one.bleahs..=(.] Took my time gazing at the mooncakes but didnt buy[calorie count still fresh in my mind..haha.] So lydia came.and in the end we entered the shop to buy mooncake! she took a baked lotus seed one while i took a pandan snowskin[im addicted to snowskin mooncakes]. At the last second, i picked a doraemon redbean mooncake too!!wahahha.it looked soo cute sitting there...couldn't help buying it.=P.

Lydia and I had dental appointments at 820.=).[i like the changing of brace colours but not the tightening=( cant eat properly after that.] Since it was lydia's first time picking two colours at once, she had to decide carefully..didnt want any ugly combinations=). first i picked orange and purple, but switched the purple to a turquoise blue since we decided to wear the same colours and she was already wearing purple. Unfortunately, we were late![raffles place was a loonnngg way away from cck and sembawang.]

During her turn, i looked through the Forbidden city booklet she bought at the esplanade..[I WANNA WATCH IT SOO BADD!!] sigh...apparently Forbidden city is a great musical![:'(..and i dont get to watch it..]

We went to eat after the dental. As usual, at polar puffs and cakes.lol. 'cept this time we had mooncakes and some pancake things with filling[she picked blueberry and i picked cheese=P] from Mr Bean!!she got a coffee peanut cake from Polar and i got a sugar roll.=P i have a sweet tooth.

Took the train to city hall to buy the Forbidden city soundtrack disc! Supposed to go to the esplanade, but on the way spotted HMV selling it..so didnt need to go all the way to esplanade.
..HOWEVER, we thought we were really early, so spent some time browsing through the cd racks. I couldn't decide whether to buy the john mayer cd, some japanese album costing over $60, the new album by stacie orrico(the one i have is sooo old.and scratched!)], another old japanese guy's album[i only like the first track Melon Water though=P], Rihanna's album, or dance music[for my own practices since cca is suspended for exams.] Gave up since i wanted Gazette, Dir en Grey or Ancafe but HMV didn't stock those..boos.=(

The time spent in HMV made us late to meet ben!haiz.anyway after that we dragged him to missha! i love the two colours my cousin got for me from hongkong! so i didnt mind buying another one.lol.. both lydia and i got a sparkly purple!asked ben if we could use his nails as a testing ground but he gave us a skeptical look[=P] so i tried the colours on my nails instead.

Then went to bras basah to buy some stationery. [meant for creche actually] but ended up buying a guitar pick[lydia] and erhu strings[me] but poor ben couldn't buy the acoustic guitar he wanted so much.awww...its ok=)wasted a lot of time there..sigh..=(

By the time we fiNaLLy got to the national library, we had only around 2 hours left.=(....[and to think i lugged a bag heavier than my brother around the whole morning & an armful of books!!]
sigh..we went all the way up to the 13th floor..thought we were so clever..but ended up on the seventh floor since the 8-13 levels were for rare materials and reference books.=( Finally settled on the seventh floor..on the floor!cause the tables inside were occupied.sighs.. We got ben to teach us e math! managed to get quite a few questions done, but he didn't complete his chem wksht..[orh...haha.maybe cause we interrupted him every few minutes.=Psorry!]

AND WE GOT CHASED OFF THE 7TH LEVEL!!!THAT POMPOUS SECURITY GUARD!!!!he went:"Eh!this place is not meant for studying ar!!huh!!please ar!!!pack up and go now!!" haiz.we ignored him, only to have him come back a second time to warn us off.=(. so we fled.

Went to Mac to eat, and ben spilled his coke all over the floor!lol..clumsy eh??jking.=P so we gave him half of ours.[we're so nice!=P]There, i decided to go amk instead since i could only go for like 1/2 hr then i'd have to leave for combined rfg. Also, it was in Mac that I learnt that both Lydia & Ben can only cook noodles and eggs..sad right??lol..=P.

On the way there, the train was pAcKeD. poor ben! there was this indian guy[im not racist, tt guy was a stranger,waddya expect?] who stood next to him.apparently he couldnt balance very well..and so he put both his hands on the sides of the train.eXcEpT..ben was standing in between him and the train wall. soo he[ben] was trapped.couldnt move forward cause tt guy's left arm ws in front. couldnt move back cause tt guy's right arm was there.side was no option either since on his right was the wall and on his left, the indian guy.lol..poor thing..[ben]

anyway, on the bus ride back, lydia and i swapped answers to some qns.let ben read them too since he looked boredd.haha..nth much after that.=).

At the serangoon gardens cc, we went bowling[rfg] i broke my thumbnail and humiliated myself bowling so im not gonna write about that.=P.
