Depot children's day celebrations
were sooo funnn!!!! BUT.
it was raining around 12++
AND i didn't bring my umbrella.
SO i walked in the rain like
a sad little moron from
the Tiong Bahru MRT
to the bus stop.
which was quite some distance
away.
FURTHERMORE, i just MISSED
the BUS AND the TRAFFIC LIGHT.
SO I had to stand at the lamppost
like some lost little girl
with the RAIN soaking me through=(
AND the people around me
had umbrellas.they stood around
me STARING as they huddled
under their umbrellas.
THANKS ALOT!!!lol...i had just
taken a BATH and i got another
DIRTY one in the RAIN.UGH.
the rain totally RUINED my hair.
By the time i got onto the bus
my hair was limp,soaked,and
looked like it belonged on some
MANGY dog.='(..PLUS..
my clothes were THOROUGHLY
soaked.so i sat in the
AIR-CONDITIONED BUS
SHIVERING. for a grand total of
ONE AND A HALF HOURS[1&1/2]
because i MISSED MY STOP!!!
but it was worth it cause the
celebrations were so fun!!=)
little girls seem to really enjoy
being pampered=)i do too!LOL.
some of their hair was really
easy to braid, but some were..
abit too curly..but manageable!
and worth the cramped fingers
=Dcause they liked it alot when
it was done!=D
after my shift was over i went
wandering around..boredd.haha
found lydia and took the above

nathanael though.
AND I FORGOT TO TAKE THE
FORBIDDEN CITY CD FROM
LYDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!argh.waited all

and i twisted my ankle=(
when nicola,elithea,levin,
john,lydia and i were playing
with the ball, i jumped to throw
the ball andd..landed on the side
of my right foot='([im clumsy]
so i had to sit down since
the pain was so excruciating.=(
and limped around.
THEN later on played captain's
ball agn.couldn't run!!!!!
missed practically every
single ball thrown at me!!!!!=(
sorry everyone!!=((
im bad at sports anyway
so a bad ankle won't make
a difference whether i catch the
ball or not.LOL.
BUT it was fun anyway!
p.s.John kan is too tall!
its ScArY to play with him.
BUT Nicola was so comical!

The first thing I noticed

DIPLOMACY:
-definition of diplomacy:

*if social studies is US and i'm Iraq,
diplomacy would never resolve
the conflicting issues we have
with each other.
therefore, my conclusion
is that we would have to resort
to military deterrence
to prevent conflicts
from arising from
our differences.
MILITARY DETERRENCE:
-why military needed:
diplomacy alone does not grant
peace&security for many countries,
especially small countries.
Thus,armed forces are needed to deter
any agressor.
*Since diplomacy yields no results to
the conflict
between social studies
and me, military deterrence is needed to
avoid a direct confrontation
between the two of us.
In this case,
the military would be my burning
desire to do well in my exams.
-
CONCLUSION:
-diplomacy may work,but in cases
where it doesn't, a powerful
military will suffice.
-military deterrence is an
important aspect of the country's defence.

SO dEaD.
Since im so stressed by the upcoming exams and mounting workload of homework and revision, i decided to go out with ernie,yiwen and nikki today for lunch.to destress?[it would be a MuCh better way then destroying anything else.=P]
I thought i'd be able to be home by latest 4-5?then spend a little time doing bio for a test on monday[so close to exams...is there a need for tests???] haha.we ate at pizza hut, and spent a wHoLe LoT of time talking..LOL.AND..playing ten questions! i found out some things i do irritate people, so im gonna change those annoying habits!=P we talked all the wayyyy until 4.45.my mom called at 4.00 telling me to go home cause she needed to go to grocery-shopping.but in the end she allowed me to finish eating then go home.wahaha..so we left pizza hut at 4.50 instead.
nikki,ernie and yiwen went to get ice-cream.I had to go home=( it was fun eating out with them anyway!=)) BUT....study!!!and my bio...my mugging schedule is GONE. i've been like postponing all my study periods into the night.causing me to have hUgE panda eyes.=(((((((((double yuck. AND so i study sporadically.haha.study for an hour, nap a bit, then wake up and study again.i've been sleeping for like a total of 4hrs++--- everyday.no wonder yiwen and ernie complain im too quiet.
However....during class today i went hyper.too tired i guess.i managed to laugh for no reason.[laughter relieves stress]and get through the chem test with God's help.=D
Evidently, piano-playing helps too.we went to the grand piano in the hall during recess and played on it.=))yiwen is SoOoOoOoOo good...im embarrassed.lol.i didn't have any nice songs to play since i generally look at the score while playing.haha..but she is really good.considering she only picked up piano again after a 2 year hiatus.
soooooooooooooooooooooooooo.ill better study now.i soo need help in bio,chem,emath,chinese[my test yesterday was...ugh.a mEsS.]=( and i've forgotten all my social studies.
oh the pain of exams....i'll get drunk with joy when its FiNaLLy oVeR.

I went shopping with my mom and brother at causway point today=( couldn't resist and i was too wound up over my chem(test tml!) and my chinese test today....i'll probably need to go for a study camp for it..=((((((((
i have decided then..i shall TRY to resist blogging until my exams are over.. which may only be an ATTEMPT.yes.so.

i stood in front of a mirror. and snipped and snapped and sliced away at my hair until it was soooo short. i actually wanted to trim the ends and let the hairstylist do the rest..but it was sooo satisfying to hear the scissors snip and my hair fall.i think im honestly going ballistic.its kinda like yesterday's episode of snapping the strings on my instrument.cept this time its my hair.[I DONT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!IM BECOMING SELF-DESTRUCTIVE TO RELIEVE MY STRESS!!!!!!!!!! AM I SUFFERING FROM CLINICAL DEPRESSION??!?!?!??!]

To me, Music is a paradox. Or maybe its just my first moodswing.=(
I was so tired from school today.And i fell asleep in SS class.And the teacher just let me sleep.And i missed half the one hour lesson.And i didn't do that well for my test cause dear Ms Choo said she marked less stringently for this test than others.So the mark i got should be reduced by 1-2 at least..=(i wish she was more stringent for this test. Then it would be a better gauge.The annoying thing is that i wrote such long answers but this test won't be counted in our overall mark!! So silly.wasted my time!!
Then i took an hour to get home 'cause i live so far away from school and the bus takes so long.=(.By then i was sooo tired.But, i had to go for piano lesson.bad timing=(i forgot to practice and got scolded.Furthermore, i made sooo many mistakes and couldn't get the darn Allegro right. In addition, my Vals Romantico piece [its supposed to sound romantic and dramatic.=(..] sounded like the music they play in haunted houses..only it was wayyyy too screechy and messsyyyy and uncoordinated.ARGH.not only do i need ambidextrous fingers i ALSO need to practice to improve their dexterity.[i sound like a senile old woman who keeps repeating the same point.=(((.]
Because of music my bad mood got worse.=(
I was soo frustrated by the time i got home that i turned destructive.=P. I went to release the full extent of my irrational wrath upon my hapless erhu.lol. One string had already snapped, which made me inexplicably annoyed and so i played more vigorously on the remaining string,causing it to snap as well.=P i felt better upon hearing the satisfying thwack as the string broke and hit my face.am i sadistic?? i sure sound so.lol.im not. The snapping of the string was like the final release of the anger and tension in me.sigh.'cept that cause i snapped the string i had to replace it.good thing i bought a set on saturday! Since the playing of an instrument helped relieve my stress, i went to pound on the piano. it didn't spoil.haha.cause i played two soothing songs=P didn't feel the pain and stress of looming examinations so heavily anymore.
Eyes on Me from Final Fantasy and Tears in Heaven really helped=)

sigh.my muscles are hurting.='( blame it on my apathetic boredom.so i went to run around the northvale estate about 5 times without realising it. I guess i wasn't really running.lol.i don't enjoy running,for one thing.i have abSoLuteLy no cLuE why i went [jogging??strolling maybe=P] today.maybe 'cause i see yiwen and ernie and nikki and annette run on the track during recess everyday. i think i need to lose weight.=(( the running thing they had going must have rubbed off on me...didnt do much good though.lols.so i went up stairs to do a dance routine. and because of that AnD the running thing[cept i dont think it really counts as running] i got overstretched muscles.*sniffsniff... hahaha.

i came back late yesterday so was too tired to write much.anyway, here's an account of saturday!=D
i woke up late=( so arrived at sembawang station at 730!!lydia went to return books to the library so she was later than me.lols.whilst waiting for her i went into a pastry shop that was selling mooncakes![i love mooncakes!minus the 1000++ in one.bleahs..=(.] Took my time gazing at the mooncakes but didnt buy[calorie count still fresh in my mind..haha.] So lydia came.and in the end we entered the shop to buy mooncake! she took a baked lotus seed one while i took a pandan snowskin[im addicted to snowskin mooncakes]. At the last second, i picked a doraemon redbean mooncake too!!wahahha.it looked soo cute sitting there...couldn't help buying it.=P.
Lydia and I had dental appointments at 820.=).[i like the changing of brace colours but not the tightening=( cant eat properly after that.] Since it was lydia's first time picking two colours at once, she had to decide carefully..didnt want any ugly combinations=). first i picked orange and purple, but switched the purple to a turquoise blue since we decided to wear the same colours and she was already wearing purple. Unfortunately, we were late![raffles place was a loonnngg way away from cck and sembawang.]
During her turn, i looked through the Forbidden city booklet she bought at the esplanade..[I WANNA WATCH IT SOO BADD!!] sigh...apparently Forbidden city is a great musical![:'(..and i dont get to watch it..]
We went to eat after the dental. As usual, at polar puffs and cakes.lol. 'cept this time we had mooncakes and some pancake things with filling[she picked blueberry and i picked cheese=P] from Mr Bean!!she got a coffee peanut cake from Polar and i got a sugar roll.=P i have a sweet tooth.
Took the train to city hall to buy the Forbidden city soundtrack disc! Supposed to go to the esplanade, but on the way spotted HMV selling it..so didnt need to go all the way to esplanade.
..HOWEVER, we thought we were really early, so spent some time browsing through the cd racks. I couldn't decide whether to buy the john mayer cd, some japanese album costing over $60, the new album by stacie orrico(the one i have is sooo old.and scratched!)], another old japanese guy's album[i only like the first track Melon Water though=P], Rihanna's album, or dance music[for my own practices since cca is suspended for exams.] Gave up since i wanted Gazette, Dir en Grey or Ancafe but HMV didn't stock those..boos.=(
The time spent in HMV made us late to meet ben!haiz.anyway after that we dragged him to missha! i love the two colours my cousin got for me from hongkong! so i didnt mind buying another one.lol.. both lydia and i got a sparkly purple!asked ben if we could use his nails as a testing ground but he gave us a skeptical look[=P] so i tried the colours on my nails instead.
Then went to bras basah to buy some stationery. [meant for creche actually] but ended up buying a guitar pick[lydia] and erhu strings[me] but poor ben couldn't buy the acoustic guitar he wanted so much.awww...its ok=)wasted a lot of time there..sigh..=(
By the time we fiNaLLy got to the national library, we had only around 2 hours left.=(....[and to think i lugged a bag heavier than my brother around the whole morning & an armful of books!!]
sigh..we went all the way up to the 13th floor..thought we were so clever..but ended up on the seventh floor since the 8-13 levels were for rare materials and reference books.=( Finally settled on the seventh floor..on the floor!cause the tables inside were occupied.sighs.. We got ben to teach us e math! managed to get quite a few questions done, but he didn't complete his chem wksht..[orh...haha.maybe cause we interrupted him every few minutes.=Psorry!]
AND WE GOT CHASED OFF THE 7TH LEVEL!!!THAT POMPOUS SECURITY GUARD!!!!he went:"Eh!this place is not meant for studying ar!!huh!!please ar!!!pack up and go now!!" haiz.we ignored him, only to have him come back a second time to warn us off.=(. so we fled.
Went to Mac to eat, and ben spilled his coke all over the floor!lol..clumsy eh??jking.=P so we gave him half of ours.[we're so nice!=P]There, i decided to go amk instead since i could only go for like 1/2 hr then i'd have to leave for combined rfg. Also, it was in Mac that I learnt that both Lydia & Ben can only cook noodles and eggs..sad right??lol..=P.
On the way there, the train was pAcKeD. poor ben! there was this indian guy[im not racist, tt guy was a stranger,waddya expect?] who stood next to him.apparently he couldnt balance very well..and so he put both his hands on the sides of the train.eXcEpT..ben was standing in between him and the train wall. soo he[ben] was trapped.couldnt move forward cause tt guy's left arm ws in front. couldnt move back cause tt guy's right arm was there.side was no option either since on his right was the wall and on his left, the indian guy.lol..poor thing..[ben]
anyway, on the bus ride back, lydia and i swapped answers to some qns.let ben read them too since he looked boredd.haha..nth much after that.=).
At the serangoon gardens cc, we went bowling[rfg] i broke my thumbnail and humiliated myself bowling so im not gonna write about that.=P.

sigh. the chem bonus asgn worth 5 marks has disappeared from the asknlearn website so i cant do it.and my chem is the pits so i really need it.=( i just received the chem compulsory asgn on acids and alkalis which i dislike. and i need to do research for my english essay.
The craft and activities for the creche on sunday aren't finished yet, one string on my two-stringed instrument has snapped, i have overstretched muscles from dance today, and i don't remember doing the ss essay i handed in today.also, i sleep in class when i get to school, and i laugh to relieve stress in school.[causing my friends to ask if i've been sleeping lately.i haven't...much.] i'm suffering from exhaustion and i can't remember if i've slept yet.
i can't cope with stress.
furthermore, next week is so crammed with tests i can hardly breathe.
Dear Lord,
help me to stay awake in school,
to finish planning the creche programme,
to sleep more,
and to study for my exams which begin in 2 weeks

Today was so fun!Aunty Yen Ching gave us each 4 extremely cute candy mini-animals!!! soo cute that i couldn't bear to eat them..haha.Nicola came during sunday school class since she had a sore throat(hope you're better!=D).After that was fellowship lunch. Since the queue was soooo long we went to the foosball table to play while waiting! We had 2 rounds: lydia and i v/s claudia and dawn.of course both matches went to us..haha.we're good!=P.It was kind of noisy cause we were so excited.but fun! anyway after that we queued up for lunch.
lydia was on a diet and i wanted to avoid carbs(=P) so we had vegetables and otah.Claudia and dawn ate what they liked(smart people!i wish i did too.=(haha.) Then we changed(more like dawn and i)into more comfortable wear to go to the roof and play! John and cedric weren't very interested until they heard we wanted to play soccer.haha.so the both of them, jonathan,josh,dawn,claudia,lydia, jolene and i went upstairs.(nicola was sick so she didn't play..
...=( what a pity!)
My brother followed us..but he was still sick with a sore throat(=(sad)and not very good at dodging the balls so i brought him back down to watch the slideshow and sharing.and i went back upstairs.haha.We played a game of soccer: john,cedric and i on one team, lydia,jonathan and josh on another.The rest of them went down cause it was too hot on the roof. At first lydia played goalie.but without shoes, standing on the floor in bare feet and kicking the ball hurt so i lent her my shoes and wore socks instead.haha.(im so nice right??) anyway later on the floor got too hot to bear so we swapped again:she went barefoot and i wore shoes.haha.(i wasn't so nice this time.=P) ahahaha.john was so funny!He kept tackling lydia and getting the ball away from her!lol.and there was an incident when she was trying to pass the ball; he kept getting in her way and scared her with "boo!" and "rarr!"and succeeded:she stood there with her hands on her hips while he ran away with the ball. The rest of us stood around laughing so hard it was hard to continue!hahaha...
I made a rather lousy goalie since half the time i was dancing on the floor(it was because the floor was soo hot!!i couldnt stand in one spot too long or my feet would burn.=Phaha.) It was fun anyway=D Later on the rest of them came up and we played captain's ball netball style.haha.almost the same thing i guess. guys against girls..which wasn't a very good idea cause of john!!He intercepted almost every pass we made!!!he's wayyy too tall!!and im soo horribly embarrassingly and ridiculously blur! everytime that giant(hahahaha no offence=)!) threw the ball i ran away toward the net.only to hear claudia shouting :"DanNa!!ball behind you!!!" sigh.im HoPeLeSs.and it happened a couple of times!!!anyone know a cure for blurness??!!

and i've no clue why the pics are on top. i'll face the harsh reality..im seriously clueless~!!!!
p.s:tears*falling need not necessarily mean tears of sorrow.it could be tears of joy, insanity, i don't know.=P.haha.go figure.

Today was fun like thursday!=D The captain ball,netball and soccer teams went to pastamania for lunch. I met lydia earlier to study first!whaddya expect?we're good students.ahahaha.=P. I woke up late but i had to complete my math before going out so i was late.=(. 'cept that lydia woke up eVeN later than me, so i ended up waiting for her instead.lols.i think i annoyed some people at the mrt while playing Unfaithful by Rihanna on my phone (although the volume was at 1/10)i was boredd.haha.
We went to pastamania thinking we would have to wait for at least an hour since it was only 11. Suprisingly, not long after we started doing emath(im completely hopeless with this) bryan and my di(curtis) arrived. Instead of being good and studying like we were,(wahhaha)they went out t" jalan-jalan"(dunno what that means but yeah=D).
Then more and more people started arriving.Thanks for helping us solve a math problem darius!=) and we went to pick dawn from the mrt at 1220(its ok you were only 5-10min late=D)
At pastamania the 3 of us ordered a fungi pasta thing each.(lydia had some straight hollow pasta,dawn had a twisty kind of pasta and i took plain old spaghetti=(it was the only choice left since we all decided to take different kinds of pasta.poor me.=(haha.)anyway. it was nice.:)we took alot of pictures at pastamania.think ill display them at the end of this entry.
After that we went took the mrt to church.'cept that lucas walks reallyy fast.and me and lydia follwed blindly only to realise belatedly that only the 3 of us, john mark and lucius had stepped off leaving the rest on the train.sigh.i didnt check my phone so i didnt realise kor had called me a couple of times..haha.thanks anyway:D
At church we played murderer.i got murdered by xinan.=(ahhaha.me and dawn acc.but nvm.the game was fun.=D. During the singspiration i got pinched by dawn=( but i provoked her to it.wahhaha.=P.i hinted to her abt someone at the podium.just to "suan" her=P im mean.whahaha.
The roundup lesson was really fun.A lot of questions about the creation of earth,the involvement of dinosaurs, rain, and evolution were answered. i almost didn't want the session to end.haha.anyway after that we played captain's ball. but the rostrum took some time to arrive so lydia and i joined the basketball game.'cept it was too rough so we stood there and waited for the ball to come to us.wahahahaha. After captain's ball i went to causeway point for dinner cause my parents were mad about my late arrival on thursday so i wasnt allowed to take my time.:(
It was ok though.we ate at sakae sushi. i had a kid's meal cause i didnt wanna eat much..it came in a mini aeroplane!!!wahahha.so cute...pity i was lazy to take a pic of it..=P anyway.its wayyy too late for me to be up.so im gonna sleep now.haha.=D
Today was another blessing!=D

sigh.every post i enter begins with a sigh..do i sound depressed?im not.XP.yesterday was so fun! After the games, me and lydia went out for dinner at Tiong bahru plaza with benjamin,gideon,wilfred and jedrick(hope i spelt that right)hazel wasn't able to stay for dinner so she went home by the mrt at tiong bahru plaza=(..We ate at Macdonalds.=(trans fat!yuck.I think we're all rather slow eaters.we ate for about 1 hour. In the course of the hour we heard jedrick's stories of the blatant outrages committed by the students in his school.Interesting but scary.Apparently the police are regular visitors there and teachers lock themselves in the staffroom to keep away from students.hm..must be interesting to study in a school where the teachers pander to the students' whims.(i hope i dont sound sacarstic 'cause im not.XP) After dinner we decided to window-shop!!!yay!!haha.benjamin suggested it.although he didn't realise what he was suggesting.lol.never mind.it was to our benefit!!haha.lydia and i went to The Bodyshop to look at a perfume called moonflower.It smelt so good!!benjamin,gideon,jedrick and wilfred came in later..without realising what shop they walked into!lol.it was hilarious to see the expressions on their faces when they realised what kind of store they had walked into.they got out of there real fast.ahahaha.. Then we went to the arcade.ahhaha.those guys were so dumbfounded when lydia and i agreed to go to the arcade too.benjamin kept repeating:"we're going to the arcade!you sure??!" as if we didn't know what arcades were.=P.lol.and i was really 1cm taller than ben!lol.he didn't believe it until we walked into sportslink and used the mirror to gauge the difference.wahaha.i can pass for a secondary 4 student!=P At the arcade we watched ben play time crisis.then lydia and i went to play air hockey.lol.i won!!by one pt.ahah.then we played house of the dead.we wiped out at the staicase.ahaha.maybe cause we didn't know how to play..or reload.lol.my character died before lydia's though.haha.we let gideon and ben play.of course they reached much farther than us.lol.in the process of killing this enormous zombie (that seriously needed skincare products and better clothes)they died.ahaha. And when we left the arcade me and lydia dragged them to the neoprint store that was coincidentally just next door!!!ahaha...they were nice enough to consent albeit abit reluctantly..ahaha.i'll post the pictures if i can get them!=D And we all went home.lol.i took the longer way with them cause i was the only one going the other way..lol.and the train was so empty.so i took the train on the longer route with all of them.ahaha.it was fun though! Yesterday was great!!=D

Sigh. Its either doing a blogskin/ blog is really hard or that Im just plain clueless. I prefer the former but I believe the true cause is that Im honestly clueless. Yes. Thats it. I woke up late today. Perhaps it was because I slept at midnight.=(. I confess. I need my sleep. =). This entry seems somewhat inane. Maybe because I have nothing better to do. Im trying to load the pictures from the fellowship games on 2nd September into my computer, but for some inexplicable reason.. it doesnt load.
Steve Irwin's death was two days ago. A tribute to him. Its ironic how he got killed by the usually passive stingray while in the midst of filming a documentary on the ocean’s deadliest creatures.
I came across a piece of poetry that seems rather apt to Steve Irwin’s passing. Its entitled Bus Stop by Donald Justice.
